Since years Video Poker has been seeking advancement tremendously and presently it has become an entertaining game with lot of variants. Aces and faces is one of the simple variant of Video Poker which is quite similar to Jacks or Better with the only difference in their pay out tables.

 

 

Objective of the game

 

The objective of Aces and Faces is to attain a five-card poker hand with a winning combination. The better is the hand and the higher is the payouts. The players can choose which cards he wants to hold and which cards he wants to discard to attain the best winning hand. The player gets the chance of replacing cards only once.

 

 

Rules to play Aces and Faces

 

The game of Aces and faces is played with a 52 card deck. This variation doesn’t have any wild cards. The main cards in this variation are Aces and Faces. A player who gets a four-ace hand is paid maximum of 80 times of his bet. In the same way if a player gets four face cards then he can earn 40 coins if he has bet with the minimum number of coins. The game begins when the player makes a bet by clicking ‘Bet One’ or ‘Bet Max’ button. After which the player will get 5 cards on the screen from which he can make a choice of holding or discarding the cards. With the ‘Hold’ button he can hold the cards and with the ‘Deal’ button he can replace the cards. If a player doesn’t win any combination then he can start over again. If a player wins the chance then he can either accept the win or can choose ‘Doubling’. By doubling the dealer offers the player with a face up card and 4 face-down cards. The player has to choose one card. If the value of the card is more than dealer’s cards then the player wins or otherwise he looses his original win.

A player should never break a winning hand unless he needs 1 card to complete a Royal Flush or Straight Flush.

A player with three high cards should keep all of them unless there are two cards of the same suit which means he can discard the third high card.
